WAXED, the university's new online magazine and creative social network, is having its official launch event at THE FLYING DUTCHMAN in Camberwell on Tuesday 26th January 2016. The event will be an interdisciplinary showcase of students' work, and will provide an excellent networking opportunity for all you lovely creative creatures. And yes, the drinks are cheap.
Once a month we'll transform the dungeon at The Flying Dutchman into a cosy movie den, where we'll screen some of the best black and white classics out there.
Join us this Sunday as we screen "A Street Car Named Desire" with a sizzling hot young Marlon Brando years before he became The Godfather we all know and love.
Join us on this evening as we host a live action game session of Cards Against Humanity.
Thought this game couldn't get any worse, wait until you play with a bunch of strangers over half priced booze.
The night will be hosted by our very own house comedian Kieran Walsh.
Horrible people, Unite!
Come as you are or dressed like an extra coming straight from a Peter-Jackson-Middle-Earth-trilogy film set.
We'll supply the amazing soundtrack, some fancy face painting for the unlucky not Middle Earthians, and a dungeon full of Terrorific (got it? ;) ) fun.
Limited £10 pre-sale tickets available. They're going fast so be quick and email firstname.lastname@example.org to get your tickets now.
